PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Law Enforcement Protective Service Training Program (LE-PSTP) provides advanced instruction in protective service operations, emphasizing planning, coordination, and execution aligned with recognized operational frameworks. Delivery integrates classroom discussion with practical exercises and concludes with a comprehensive field training exercise that reinforces applied decision-making and protective movement under realistic conditions.
Participants who complete the program receive 40 ASIS-approved Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits and a WSG Certificate of Completion, supporting agency documentation, and professional credentialing requirements.
ELIGIBILITY
This program is available to:
• Active and retired law enforcement personnel
• Officers assigned to protective, intelligence, special operations, or tactical units
• Personnel involved in threat assessment or protective planning
• Supervisors overseeing protective service missions
• Agencies seeking to enhance protective capability
• ASIS certification holders requiring approved CPE credits
Proof of service or agency documentation is required for enrollment.

DELIVERY OPTIONS
LE-PSTP is delivered in person through a field-based, scenario-driven model. The course may be conducted at the WSG facility in Las Vegas or hosted on-site by law enforcement agencies. Host delivery is coordinated with a designated agency point of contact and aligned with the organization’s operational requirements.
CERTIFICATION
Participants who complete all requirements receive:
• WSG Certificate of Completion
• Serialized Training Transcript
• 40 ASIS-approved CPE credits
These credentials support continuing education requirements and document advanced protective service training for agency and personnel records.
