PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Law Enforcement–Protective Service Training Program (LE-PSTP) is a rigorous, five-day course in Protective Service Operations specifically designed for current and former law enforcement professionals. The program incorporates proven protective methodologies traditionally used within federal protective missions, including those employed by agencies such as the U.S. Secret Service and the Diplomatic Security Service. It adapts these standards for modern law enforcement operations.

Grounded in federal best practices and delivered through a structured crawl–walk–run methodology, the program integrates classroom instruction with practical drills and scenario-based exercises. Training culminates in a comprehensive Field Training Exercise (FTX) that challenges participants to apply threat recognition, protective movement, and rapid operational decision-making in realistic environments.

Graduates earn 40 ASIS-approved CPE credits and receive a WSG Professional Certificate, providing dual recognition that validates skills, supports ASIS recertification, and enhances professional credibility across the law enforcement and security community.
