Tom is the Founder of Wynn Solutions Group and brings more than three decades of operational and instructional experience spanning military service, private-sector protective operations, and federal law enforcement.
He began his career with the United States Marine Corps Security Force, conducting protective operations for flag officers and dignitaries during the Gulf War. Following military service, he worked in private-sector executive protection, supporting Fortune 500 executives and high-profile individuals.
In 1994, he transitioned to federal law enforcement, serving in investigative and tactical assignments within the United States Department of Justice and later the United States Department of Homeland Security. As a Senior Special Agent with Homeland Security Investigations in Los Angeles, he served on the Special Response Team and as a Firearms & Tactics Instructor.
During his tenure with the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Firearms and Tactical Programs, he developed and managed the Protective Security Operations Training Program (PSOTP) at Fort Benning, Georgia, integrating federal protective methodologies consistent with operational standards utilized by the United States Secret Service and the Diplomatic Security Service.
Throughout his career, he has delivered training to domestic and international law enforcement units, military organizations, and corporate security teams operating in high-liability environments.
His credentials include DHS Law Enforcement Master Instructor Certification (DHS-LEMIC), FBI Firearms Instructor certification, and advanced certifications in firearms, tactical operations, and protective services. He is a graduate of Cornell University’s Executive Leadership Program and holds an academic background in criminal justice.
Tom established Wynn Solutions Group to deliver disciplined training aligned with operational realities and defensible execution principles.
